I've been immersed in the creative process for as long as I can remember. What I love most is being part of a creative team and crafting beautiful, story-driven imagery. Whether in stills or motion, wardrobe has a unique power to tell a story. I'm endlessly fascinated by the emotional resonance that can be created through subtle details—layers, textures, and the hidden narratives in a scarf, a pair of shoes, or a hat. I’m especially drawn to giving forgotten or vintage pieces a fresh moment to shine—blending past and present to create something entirely new. My happiest moments are spent collaborating with storytellers—photographers, directors, scriptwriters, and art directors—who trust me to interpret their vision through costume and styling. For me, there are no rules—only endless possibilities for how wardrobe can enhance and shape a narrative. I earned my diploma in Art Direction and Graphic Design in Advertising from The AAA School of Advertising. I began my career in print media, first assisting a fashion editor, then working as a fashion editor for various South African publications. These roles honed my skills in fashion, beauty, and art direction—creating visual stories that align with both international trends and local design voices. Since then, I’ve styled and art-directed across a range of mediums, including fashion magazines, music videos, tv commercials, short and feature films, online brands, and retail and advertising campaigns. Collaboration is at the heart of everything I do. I believe every member of the crew contributes something essential, and it’s when we all bring our voices to the table that the real magic happens.
