There is something magical that happens when one enters Pure Yin Studio in Simon’s Town. It is undeniable that there’s a lot of charm to the location where the boutique sits, perched at the top of the historical Rectory Lane.  But the alchemy of feelings and perceptions begins the moment one crosses the threshold between the outside world and the peaceful and beautiful interior of the studio. The enchanting Pure Solid 13 collection lives there and one can immediately feel its pulse and its presence.This ethereal and exquisite collection, as well as the branding of the line, are the loving work of a family team. Every piece is designed and infused with utmost awareness and care, using only pure natural cottons and linens, giving each item a luxurious texture.  The uniqueness woven into the fibres of the Pure Solid 13 line is expressive of the ethos of the label, crafted with intention and purpose. Towards the end of April, iseeyousee magazine had the privilege of taking the collection to the Karoo to photograph it. Inspired by the softness and natural feel of the fabrics, we felt that the Karoo, with its natural wonder, vastness and solitude would be the perfect setting for Pure Solid 13’s zen quality.We felt there was a complete alignment between the purity of the clothing, designed and made in South Africa and the purity of the land.
