Trish Thomas-Meyer

Trish is a seasoned freelance makeup artist with over 30 years of experience in international and local TV commercials, media productions, and stills shoots. Her approach to makeup is rooted in enhancing natural beauty and individuality: “Women want to look beautiful. They want to look fresh and flawless.” Trish thrives in collaborative creative environments where artistry and vision come together. Her career began in the 1990s, when she split her time between South Africa and Germany, working on high-profile fashion shoots and TVCs. Since then, she has collaborated with leading international and South African teams, contributing to publications such as Cosmopolitan, Fair Lady, Italian Rolling Stone, and Vogue. In 2019, her artistry was recognized at the Bokeh Film Festival, where she won Best Creative Makeup for the film Reimagine, directed by Ian Greyvenstein. Beyond her work as a makeup artist, and her most rewarding role as a mother, Trish is also a dedicated metaphysical therapist. She guides her clients through life’s challenges, combining creativity, intuition, and compassion in all she does.
