Chasing Bees

We are a small family run business based in Cape Town, South Africa. In our business activities we commit to the responsibility of delivering fine product and to live by transparent sourcing and ethical trade. The Chasing Bees company is founded on the following footings of purpose. Our mission is to be authentic to who we are in design, innovation and sense of place. We strive not to imitate and to source ethically in this sense. We constantly pursue our unique artistic freedom in the lifestyle that we project and in the product that we take pride in offering. As a first principle, we doggedly engage and commit to sourcing and manufacturing our product and services locally. We seek out local small businesses as our suppliers and aim to support sustainability and regeneration in this important segment of the South African economy. As a family business, we believe in the power of community and sustainability. We design and produce ethical apparel that's kind to the planet and its people. By sourcing locally and prioritizing fair trade, we reduce our environmental impact and support our community. We dedicate and donate 1% of total turnover to a non-profit science-based research organisation; Ujubee NPC. This project is dedicated to the study of wild bees and pollinators and to the protection of biodiverse natural habitat.
